It's very clever and it would be great on a range gun for guests. I wouldn't want it on anything I'd have to depend on.

Yea, that's what I thought. But this thing appears to have come out five years ago. Doesn't look like it's caught on. Wonder if it sucks or it just wasn't marketed very well. I appreciate the creativity that went into this. Seems like a cool idea.

I dont see an advantage. Seems like it would lock you into just one shooting position while making the pistol grip weaker.

I would see this as a tool to capture a customers hand shape for doing custom work, or maybe a rental or store where there is a large selection of aftermarket grips to instill some sales confidence.
On a funtional rifle though? No. I'm a firm beleiver that adding failure points should be avoided at all costs, always. Every moving part is a potential failure point. One of those fins crack, and it might not hold tension or whatever. pure range toy-sales tool.

Nope. I like my slim MOE grips. That thing looks big. even after it tightens up.
