Hey planning on go up to the umpqua for smallmouth second week of may does anybody have any tips or advice?

I'm not sure when it opens, but there's some great small mouth fishing at river forks Park. Go to the opposite side, it's called Singleton Park. There's a little landing you can fish off of, or go slightly upriver on the south under the trees. Drift worms and you'll do great. Make sure both rivers are open though.
