It's a nasty war of devastation. Before the battle lines stagnated, the Russians looted a lot of the areas they initially captured. Apparently including this Maine Coon cat. Which was taken to Belarus from Ukraine, seemingly by retreating Russian soldiers.
In additional to human suffering, who knows how many dogs and cats have been killed or made homeless or have been abandoned of necessesity by their owners.
