Your right - it didn't put and end to it - just made it illegal - but I hardly believe our reloading rights, or any gun related rights will ever be jeopardized. If so any threats would only serve to divide this country even more so than it already is. I believe any real, substantive threat to our gun rights would result in another 'splinter' political group, possibly up to 1/3 of our country, and we have enough of these already.

Scare tactics by people who want your money. Fact- any treaty must be affirmed by US Senate, rural America controls Senate. Will NEVER happen and it does not matter the party in the majority.

Gotta go with fd15k on this. Netsecsys, who would sign the treaty and how would they do it without the authority of a Congressional say so? How is it that a treaty could go into effect "until it is renounced by a president or voted upon in the senate"? Not trying to slam you personally, but good grief it's this kind of misinformed regurgitation of baloney that is either the genesis of fear mongering or just the propogation of the same. What happened to critical thinking skills?

Have there been a recent amount of accidental deaths from reloaded ammo? Because I am pretty sure that the people who go out and commit murder don't reload their own ammo.

Theoretically the point is to track all ammo sales to prevent boogies from getting any. Reloading components are mostly untrackable, and make it harder to control all ammo
distribution. Russia and Serbia come to mind - they sell a ton of reloading components here, they wouldn't want to lose this market.
