When the left and right use certain words, the ultimate meaning for the same words are different, the new definition becomes apparent as it is carried out. The propaganda war is upon us. The left does not want you think, they want you to shout slogans when told to do so.
"Peace" to most of us means tranquility, the absence of war or conflict. To a Marxist "peace" means the liquidation of resistance, or the temporary quiet between firing squad volleys....or a quiet cemetary filled with "enemies of the people".
Tranquility is not useful to the Marxist. They must divide a population, aggravate or create differences, demonize those differences, create class conflict and chaos. They move in with "community organizers" a.k.a. agitators with promises of "change", "equality" and "social justice". They replace the old customs, heroes, and institutions with their own. They create martyrs, they make it simple to "believe". Simply hand over what is yours, and they will provide...."trust me".
"Stimulus" means spending to devalue and break our currency....
"People" to us means "we the people". The Marxist "people" are loyal Party members. They are the new elite, privileged class - the Nomenklatura.
"Free speech" to a Marxist is not the First Amendment. It is the Berkeley 'free speech" i.e. conformance to the Party Line.
"Progressive" sounds harmless enough, also "going forward" is used by the left. Those are their soft words for revolution, destroying history, replacing it with their version, with no turning back. Those words bring to my mind a line of Soviet tanks with quiet rubber road tracks.
"Final Solution" was the Nazi definition of genocide or a purge. "Cultural Revolution" was used in China. "Ethnic cleansing" was recently used in the Balkans. We have yet to hear the term for destruction of our Nation and plural society.
"Democracy" to the left is simply conforming to the Party Line. To the rest of the free world it implies free elections with choices.
V.I. Lenin said in 1924: "a lie told often, becomes truth". If they hammer on a falsehood, it soon becomes "true".
"Reasonable" as used by the left means total submission to their dogma.
"Compromise" means the same as "bi-partisan". see "reasonable".
"Negotiate" means the same as "peace in our time" did in 1936. What is theirs will remain theirs, what is yours shall become theirs through "negotiation".
Stalin said "free" elections are fine, but "we" count the votes.
Mugabe used the word "harmony" to describe the elections in Zimbabwe.
"Harmony" was attained by killing or removal of opposition.
Bill Clinton re-defined sex.
The "O" regime has re-defined illegal aliens as "immigrants", gun owners and veterans as "potential terrorists" and middle east terrorists as "jihadists".
"Truth" is re-defined daily in Wash. D.C. and spoken by their network media. "Pravda" is the Russian word for truth.
"Change": the Marxist meaning is being revealed to us....
Some people are turned, some are silent, some are apathetic, some are greedy, some are afraid, and some leave. Politicians all have their price, sometimes there is more influence to buy if you shop locally. History gives us many examples.
Watch the definitions, watch their eyes, and watch what is in their hands.
my 2 cents
