Well being as its a historical FACT that the Progressive movement (that you so proudly beat your chests over) was/is RIFE with racists (Woodrow Wilson, Sen. Bobby-boy Byrd, etc.) and eugenics proponents (Margaret Sanger, btw- also a racist) to "cull out the undesireables", I'd wager that it would have indeed happened even if everything had been under a socialist "utopia" from the founding of our country... LOL... no, dumb-dumb, my point IS... the wholesale slaughter and theft inflicted upon the American Indian nations would have occurred regardless of what "political side" was in the majority... crikey, even some of the Indian Chiefs sold out their own people, and some tribes worked with the "white devil" against other tribes... all for "trinkets" and "promises". The modern-day equivilent to "trinkets" and "promises" is, "let's confiscate the vast majoity of one's personal income (and property rights) so we can supply cradle to grave "entitlements" to everyone (even if they never worked an honest day's work in their lives), and regulate everything in order to protect everyone from themsleves, and make everyones' outcomes "equal", regardless of their efforts (and talents)."

"Ego, greed, lust, envy, and self-inadequacies" are the fuel that motivate the perpetuation of evil and evil deeds. Simply put, politics (as well as organized religion) are merely the tools used (by the few) to manipulate (the many) into getting what one (of that ilk) wants. Its all just wrapped up in some inane "slogan" for the masses to buy into... pick one, "Corportists" or "Progressive" (both unchecked mind you) the end would have been the same... inflicting death, robbery, and theft upon others for the love of money, sex, and power... which is fueld by ego, greed, lust, envy, and self-inadequacies which has been around since Adam & Eve... if not longer.

Hold on there slammie... there's more porn shops (of every category) per capita in PORTLAND (and other PNW liberal enclaves)... so don't be lumping EVERYONE into that. Woodburn (pop. approx 22,000) doesn't have a SINGLE porn shop (not even along I-5), and we have a BUNCH of churches (and illegals).

Tell me... how does someone like Rep. Earl Blumenauer who has only worked in the public sector his ENTIRE ADULT LIFE become a millionaire? What about Rep. Charlie Rangle? What about Rep. "Stretch" Nancy Pelosi? What about SENATOR (she worked so hard for that title) Babs Boxer? Sen. Dodd and Rep. Charlie Rangle have their snail-trails all over that housing/mortgage bust... they're ALL STIKIN' FILTY RICH!! Talk about a fraggin' hypocrite, you schmuck!

I posted here in the past about the corrupt Washington government trying to steal my property and how the courts would bleed you dry trying to regain what is rightfully yours. Thank GOD for people such as the U.S. Observer out of Oregun that got my property returned. Maybe if you folks would get off the Glenn Beck crazy train for a moment to actually read the posts then you would see that nobody is "lauding leftist politicians." Who I laud is the working stiff who busts his tail for forty years to support a family but then when he gets a little to old, slow and broken he gets kicked to the curb with no health insurance.
