Washington Government Shutdown

FYI....don't know if this correct forum, but I called the NFA branch of the ATF this morning...and they are shutdown.
1. They are accepting new forms.
2. They are only processing LE and Military forms "skeleton crew" only.
3. After shutdown ends OR they receive funding; they will start processing forms where they left off.
4. Lastly, I was told this applied to all forms (1, 4 and my 5320.20s).

They take so long to do these now I thought they were already on a skeleton crew

True dat...but my 5320.20s typically only take 3-4 weeks. Might hold up my house sale/closing if it drags on too much longer :-(

I'm sure the background checks were the first thing they shut down.
