Im not a hunter but is it common to go deer hunting and leave the entire carcass?

That's quite the fragmentation for a hunting round

Some folks cut out the back straps and leave the rest.... came upon a few over the years.

I saw the zoo thing as i go about 10 times a year.... i was waiting for a new round every exhibit... like this round is for deer, this one is for rhinos.... but nooooo.

That is wasting of a game animal. Poachers would be my guess as how can you prove the sex of the animal? My hunting group leaves a gut pile and maybe the hide, everything else goes home.
