I just hope they make it more realistic this season and I gotta be honest,i kinda wish shane would get eaten by zombies....he annoys me.hate his stupid accent and tough guy thing.

It's actually just the second half of season 2.

Season 3 will probably start on Halloween again this year.
It will be the longest season to date

season 1 - 6 episodes

season 2 - 13 episodes

season 3 - 16 episodes.

It's so hard to tell which direction the show will go, especially how far off from the comics they've gone.

I was getting tired of them being stuck on the farm, but the final episode made up for it. That last scene with the missing daughter was brutal and I didn't see it coming.

I hope they keep up the quality since AMC fired Frank Darabont. Speaking of which, his movie The Mist is worth checking out.

Come on! Shane is the only one with the balls big enuff to get the job done. Without him the boy would be D E A D! Pluss he gets all the girls. But if you really stop and think about it their always has to be at least one guy in every major event who is willing to get his hands dirty, who is willing to do what has to be done to get the job done. Is he crazy? Yes. But do they need him? I say yes.

Its like soap operas and WWE wrestling, there has to be bad guys, and good guys, and bad guys that turn good, and good guys that turn bad. Too much drama, too little zombie slaying...........my DVR is set though.

Last time I checked, its a show about the dead coming back to animation, and a post-holocaust population that DOESN'T spend every waking moment of every single day trying to get something to eat.

Suspension of disbelief (i.e. "more realistic") was kinda departed from at the outset. It is, however, a romp, and I enjoy it. I just say, "Hey, when's the next episode of Target Practice?"

That was some pretty fast pistol work with the Python in the final scene. I was a little concerned the dialog with the two idiots was going to carry over to the next episode.

Last scene was good (and the sickle through the zombie's head early on was good), but mostly I thought this episode moved way... too.... slow.... There's a lot of material on the comic books, so it's not like they're going to run out of storyline. I think they're dragging it out a bit too much.
