Interesting article as far as them graphing the numbers then adding the trend line. Still looks to be a record year overall, but the month by month data seems to be telling. And it doesn't seem to be excessively political. I wonder what the same data applied to ammo and components would look like.

Looks like a well orchestrated attempt to make it look like the gov't has quit trying to pass gun control and confiscation which we know isn't true.

Bi-Mart shelves in Yakima are mostly bare of ammo except for defensive rounds or hunting rounds. I did spot a couple of boxes of Winchester White Box .45ACP for (gasp) $29.95.

So if it's over, I'd like someone to tell the people in Yakima County that so I can get some ammo.

Cabelas in Lacey, Washington was filled to the brim with ammo today (except .22).

I think we're on the precipice of having ammo back for the most part, the last to arrive however, will probably be 22lr.

Just theatre - The economy is supposedly comming back, the govt is easing off subsidizing the ammo manufacturers to keep the bullets off the shelves - The theory is that during a depression, they don't want Bonnie and Clydes again.

What ever the case, with ammo and fuel prices so high, Classi III weapons unavailable, everyone is tapped out. So they got what they wanted...to ban this stuff, with out looking like they banned it, just priced it out of everyone's reach. Pretty smart actually.

That said, their social theory never held from the get go, most people are scarred little sheep and are much less likely now to run amock and fight the govt over bank failures, drones, surveilance ect. Much more controllable and docile populace now. Everyone on meds, on the dole, happy to believe what they are told, happy to just surf porn and play video games.
