Gidday .....I have the above model semi-auto

Lately the slide,after firing a round,stays in the after postion,....it does not slide fwd,and chamber another round...I have to manually release the slide to chamber the next round....

I have cleaned this gun after most practise rounds.......any suggestions,I believe this is a cleaning issue......any suggestion...thanks in advance

Have you tried chambering a round - remove the mag - fire the weapon - slide still lock to the rear??

No I didnt...never thought of that .....exchanged the 3 mags I have for it....but will try that.......excellent suggestion...ta

mate...shipped it off to Taurus......seems that the mags are causing the problem......they havent given me an exact reason...but say they will fix it no matter what as it warranteed for the life of the gun.....had nothing but great service from them...should know in a week or two
