Funny, there's nothing about that in the constitution.

Read the concept of representation as it was intended !
You are not to good at history obviously.

I suggest you start here
1 thru 85 of the federalist papers.
These are easy reading summaries and the complete texts are also available there.

And here is sound logic.

Funny, there's nothing about that in the constitution.

No there is not, but it is mentioned in various writings by the men who wrote the constitution.
The term limit for presidents was not originally in the constitution either and every single one followed the example set forth by George Washington and limited themselves to only 2 terms.
That is until that egotistical fascist FDR came along and suddenly he was above the tradition that was followed by all that preceded him throughout the existence of the republic.

You're reading them backwards.

There are limits on governments, not citizens. The citizen is everything.

A United States citizen, if he chooses to, can create any legal career for himself that he or she is capable of.

Including getting re-elected. Including 40 years in congress.

Personally, I'm against term limits, since you brought it up. We have built in term limits. We call them "elections". Politicians act completely differently when they have a chance of being re-elected, and that's good for us.

But you would limit those aspirations-- you would have the all-powerful government limit what a citizen here can aspire to. How high, how long, how effectively he or she can rise.

You do, however, consistently amaze. Do carry on. Say something else.

You just spelled out the perfect Socialist/Marxist agenda when it comes to
those aspirations being in government as another control freak.
They cease to be a citizen on par with the private sector, until they renter the private sector. Double speak bs.
A bit twisted, even for you, but par.
And I am for reasonable term limits and then having to reenter the private sector and earn their retirement like everyone else. It is the only thing that will keep them somewhat honest. They will have to live just as everyone else in this country.

That's what I like to hear. Perfectly circular logic, so we use more regulation trying to limit the regulators.

Tell me this, since you're on a roll: who will write these regulations?

You're sort of confused when it comes to both Socialism and Marxism, but I'm willing to put that down to contempt prior to investigation, bias, and what the boys at the bar say.

Lib-tard logic as usual.
Go play you circle games with someone else.

Its called the liberty amendment go read about them it by passes congress and is set forth by the states. This can be done to curb term limits or anything else to change the constitution.

To trivialize what is going on in this country financially speaking, and to trivialize the weakening dollar on the world scene, is not in my opinion facing reality at any sort of level that is reasonable.
Trivialize?

I'm not trivializing it! It's an opportunity to make money! Real money, not I-sold-my-trailer money. Why would I trivialize that?

Where money is concerned, fear indicates lack of knowledge, both of money and history.

Well, L.H.
I understand the rules, and I have a healthy but not an overwhelming fear of what the financial future is looking like. Of course, I'm one of those weird Christian types.
To trivialize what is going on in this country financially speaking, and to trivialize the weakening dollar on the world scene, is not in my opinion facing reality at any sort of level that is reasonable. Of course most all people in this country are just like you, and I do not state that to belittle you. It's just how societies are.
I've had one fire extinguisher in our bedroom, and one in the kitchen for over 30 years. Never had opportunity to use them. But, there they are.

Hell, let Lyle put his money all out there, we can at least get a good laugh when its all gone some morning.
He has a hole in his sail and an empty scuba tank anyway.

Taku, aren't you the one whose membership here is charity?

Yes sir it was a wonderful gift by a fine group of friends.
A very nice surprise, and basically so I could head off a few of you backstabbers.
I am indebted to them greatly and will help them in anything they need.
So you were saying, Lyle Harwood. Who will you threaten to shoot here. You seem to be
good at that on other boards around the net.

You really ready for this game.....?
Have to ask yourself "Feel lucky punk"
Damn I like Eastwood. :s0018:

Ah, I see.

From each according to his gifts, to each according to his needs.

You don't recognize that, do you?

There is very little that you see.
That is too obvious.
You have been despised for your tactics on every forum
you have ever been on, so you are in great form at least.

finis !

The Stock Market Has Officially Entered Crazytown Territory

This irrational stock market bubble is not going to last for too much longer. And a lot of top financial experts are now warning their clients to prepare for the worst. For example, David John Marotta of Marotta Wealth Management recently told his clients that they should all have a "bug-out bag" that contains food, a gun and some ammunition...

I am expecting it this year. I am sure the current administration will orchestrate something to encourage the collapse.
It is in his overall agenda.
Then watch events get interesting. Lethal but interesting.
Congress won't act to remove him. The senate won't act,
so it is obvious they all are involved in the progression of
the attempted demise of our country.
The domino line is all set up. It will surprise me if it doesn't happen before the fall.
This will be an intense year. Lets hope we all make it to 2016.
That is going to depend on the outcome of 2014.

EDIT: Sorry for this response... I had not read the other posts prior to my initial response here. I thought your post here was to my last post. bmwrider.gif
Doesn't bother me.

You are aware that I'm not the one who bought up the Liberty Amendment, right?
