Fm 21 75 may be very useful. Combat Skills of the Soldier. Older one. Has entire chapters dedicated to Cover, Concealment, Camouflage, and field positions.

While not related to firearms or shooting, much good useful info to be had in terms of woodsman skills and camping ideas...

Not a field manual ....but a really good read if you can find it.
Jack-Knife Cookery by James A. Wilder is a excellent read for this kinda of thing that you are looking for.
