If it's a pistol it's a pistol even if it has a pistol brace.Oh so your skirting the law as a loop hole because your SBR has a pistol brace on it.
For some reason I doubt that loop hole would stand up in court. But you may be right.
I know his brother, Dutt-head. They're all about poaching under the guise of hunting. If your life is in danger I think you're gunna be ok if you use a center fired rifle.
At that point I don't think it matters if it's a rifle or a "pistol." Unless I'm mistaken on your point.
Sure. I wouldn't want to be the one trying to argue that on the left coast. If it's a pistol it's a pistol even if it has a pistol brace.
Don't leave witnesses?Sure. I wouldn't want to be the one trying to argue that on the left coast.
Oh yea. I forgot where I am.Don't leave witnesses?![]()
The land of make believe, where shooting animals with a rifle but no tag is ok because it identifies as a pistol so you can actually shoot anything you want any time you want but it's totally not poaching.Oh yea. I forgot where I am.
The less rounds you have on tap, the more you pick your shots, I'd bet. The most I've ever had to shoot an animal was twice. Usually once. I think it adds more of a sporting element to it, because, you know... I can already hit them with the finger of god from hundreds of yards away. We humans already have every edge until it goes hands on.The new BAR has a 10 round mag. They were touting it for hunting and killed something in Idaho. Don't know about Idaho, but that gun, with that mag, is not legal in Oregon. No mention of a 5 round mag and the mag well makes it look like that could be a challenge.
Maybe I didn't explain it well…..The land of make believe, where shooting animals with a rifle but no tag is ok because it identifies as a pistol so you can actually shoot anything you want any time you want but it's totally not poaching.
Would you have the same problem if they used a contender instead of a bolt action AR, because thats the same story it's a rifle that identifies as a pistol. The land of make believe, where shooting animals with a rifle but no tag is ok because it identifies as a pistol so you can actually shoot anything you want any time you want but it's totally not poaching.
Don't care what weapons are used, as long as there's no poaching.Would you have the same problem if they used a contender instead of a bolt action AR, because thats the same story it's a rifle that identifies as a pistol.
Then why are you accusing them of poaching for using a "rifle that identifies as a pistol"Don't care what weapons are used, as long as there's no poaching.
Sometimes we learn more than we ever need to...Yeah, it's been "educational" alright.
This reads as if you plan on shooting animals out of season. My plan is to manually slam one round into a coyote/bear/cougar during deer and elk seasons when you are prohibited from hunting those animals with a centerfire rifle without the deer or elk tag for that unit during the concurrent season.
Other options I have exercised have been slug loaded shotguns and Thompson Contenders and big Smith revolvers. For me, this beats those.
Or want to.Sometimes we learn more than we ever need to...
Lord no!This read as if you plan on shooting animals out of season.
If so...then that is illegal....is that your intent here....?
