"a woman who seized her estranged husband's guns after he was accused of domestic violence."
She was charged with Felony Theft. Those charges have been changed, but the Prosecutor is not believing her story.

The arrest of domestic violence victim who turned in her husband's guns isn't what it seems, prosecutor says - CNN

Sounds like the prosecutor admitted the burglery charge was downgraded to trespassing(?!?) because of the alleged ramming of her vehicle the day prior by the husband. Which is complete BS; apparently of you are a "bad" person in the eyes of the law, it's not robbery if people break into your house and steal your stuff.

She broke into his apartment and stole items to sell, including firearms. She only tried to turn them in because a friend urged her to. I don't care what he did to her, it has no bearing on the severity of her crime.

Since she's a known liar and thief, any bets on their chance of convicting him of the ramming incident if it's only her word against his? If able, he should present the argument that she lied to get him arrested to facilitate her planned robbery.
