I can't believe that regulating braces was high on the agenda of any gun grabber group. I would guess the average gun grabber supporter didn't even know what a stabilizing brace was. I think they were on the ATFs list because the ATF doesn't like the gun manufacturers figuring out ways to work around the SBR rules.

It doesn't take much thought to figure out the brace schtick. Even some generally pro gun types are anti brace
