We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Would there be anyone in the Puyallup/Tacoma area that has a sight pusher that I could borrow for a half hour or who could adjust the front sight on my Savage 22 rifle?
I like to use a length of brass round, or even delrin. Brownells does sell a couple of sight pushers, but I could not justify the expense to adjust one gun
I didn't know if there was a generic type of sight pusher that would work.
I tried tapping it with a nylon bushing, but it didn't budge, so I'm kind of leary of damaging it by hitting it too hard.
billdeserthills, I agree, hard to justify 50-60 to adjust the sight on a 140 gun.
