Honestly, a gun in the shower is something that never occurred to me.
This seems like a good idea for purposes way beyond the shower. My good friend Mark who lives in rural New Mexico is always telling me about his latest electronic security gimmick. More than once, I've suggested he get a dog as an early warning system. He ignores the suggestion. A person doesn't even have to like dogs, so long as they are fed and reasonably cared for.
Not just for guns. Having an air compressor is handy or essential (depending upon the level of intensity) for all kinds of mechanical and construction work.
