New toys!

Tape switch for the laser and Inforce WML light--this is a temporary setup just for the photo; since her dominant hand is opposite of mine and her arms and fingers much longer, final setup will have to wait until she gets out here so we can fit it to her.

Latest update, with optic riser and covers installed and final Velcro strips for tape switch. Now I gotta call the coin-toss between Gunkote Light OD or Oasis Green... ESS Shift sling is a temporary "function-alike," a buddy has a genuine surplus Canadian-issue we're trying to figure out getting across the border. BCG's still in the bag because I'm saving that last piece for the GF to do herself; test fire will be on the lower and BCG from my M4.

Finally got my Geissele URGI in the mail today! Matched it up with an Eotech and a Colt lower.

Took my latest 20" A4 build out to Wolf Creek today. PSA Freedom upper with carry handle. A PSA lower stolen from another build but added an A2 UTG buttstock kit. Also a PSA Nib bcg. Finally a CMC 3lb trigger.

The first two rounds were FTF. The next 75 rounds or two in a half mags had few FTF. All were Frontier 55gr brass. Only the shortest lane was available. 37 yards. I was able to shoot the centers out of a few clays.

The majority of the parts were proven to work from other rifles. I'm leaning toward the trigger being the issue or maybe giving it a good lube.

Here's a pic along with my M4 clone 14.5" and Stag Arms 3T. I have the Knights Armaments M5 rail but wanted to try old school look first . Its been 30+ years since I shot a 20".

What is it? How close? I personally prefer to say my builds were inspired by. Some bits are legit but others for cost or availability I went on the cheap. No Trijicon, FN or Colt.

On my M4 I have the KA rail covers on an Amazon rail. Nikon 3x32 over ACOG. I do have a Sopmod buttstock but it wouldn't lock up right. I get it. There are no rules, which just means room for another build.

Well, @Mygrainman has gone and done it again. Dangled a carrot and hooked me up with some goodies for a new build so I figured I'd share it. Needs an FDE Eotech EXPS3-0 and G33 magnifier still so if anyone wants to throw me a bone and is sitting on one or the other (or both), hit me up for trade or sale. Also looking for another Colt M4 Carbine (or M4A1 - not likely) lower receiver to reach my ultimate state of Nirvana so let me know what you got.

Also added pics of the other 2 girls again (previously posted) to keep 'em all in the same space. That's more For my pleasure than anyone else's... selfish, I know. Sorry, but I love these ladies!

What's the electrical tape on the fiber optic for?

What's the electrical tape on the fiber optic for?

The ACOG has a tendency to get really bright and create reticle "bloom" in direct light. The tape is there so that you can expose a user selected amount of the fiber optic to adjust the brightness manually.
