(*) denotes parts that are NOT clone correct, but I plan on keeping. A few liberties that make it my own.
The tanadized Colt buffer tube is mostly correct... just not the right color, but it looks cool!
The 249 ASR FH is a must because I have a SiCo supressor, and it is long enough to bring the barrel past the legal 16"
A Surefire 4prong would be correct, but until I can afford a SF supressor,
The BE Meyers Is the closest I can get.
Not exactly a cheap substitute either.
Only other "liberties" I took were the Maritime BC, and Magpul TG.
I love the Geissele Maritime Bolt Catch so I had to put it on, and I have fat fingers so I had to put an enhanced trigger guard.

Generic Joebob safety is temporary until I get a Colt Ambi. No big hurry there.

I'm looking to trade my SOPMOD stock for the same in Coyote/FDE
Other Future plans include a TAN Eotech G33 Magnifier, and a PEQ15
Going to be a while for those though

I have a M4 inspired build underway. Waiting for parts to be delivered. Budget build based on a 14.5 chrome lined upper. Swapping it back to a quad rail. Hard to spend too much because although I rarely sell anything I have to keep value in mind.

No parts are marked Colt or FN but no reason it won't be a reliable fun to shoot reminder of military history. All in should be $400-450 with a lot of cool little parts snuck in there.

We won't be Clone Nazi's like some of the other sites. This thread is not specific to one variation of one particular rifle so I say as long as it's inspired by, and a fair historical representation.... post it up!

The M4 has the SOCOM profile barrel. All clone correct except for the MIAD grip and ACOG which is the RCO M150. Otherwise, as close as it gets.

MK12 is pretty correct except for the optic really.

These two hold a special place in my heart... as with all the builds I've been involved in.
The Mark 12 especially. Clone building is extremely expensive. Dozens of very specific parts that are very expensive, and difficult to find. I couldn't afford to proceed with it, and I knew if I turned the project over to him he'd do it up right...he exceeded my expectations.
A true work of art! He allows me supervised visitation once in a while too.

I only helped source a few parts for his Block 1, but it's a beautiful piece as well.

I've seen some impressive accuracy out of 12.5" and 13.7" barrels, so this could potentially be a great little "precision pistol" with the right barrel and the right load. I haven't tried the BA barrel that's on it yet. It very well could be sub MOA...

AR-50bmg. Safety Harbor Fire Arms upper with a 5 round detachable mag. Magless 80% lower. A2 butt stock filled with shotgun shot to help dampen recoil.
