It is coming along nicely.
Have 8 more walls to put up, trim up some doors, and will be operational for classes starting next month.

Never having been in a shoothouse, how do folks know safe vs unsafe shooting / muzzle direction?

Just by where the targets are set?

Or are unsafe walls standardized a particular paint color?

Safe vs unsafe shooting, as well as muzzle direction are all covered.

Body movement, weapon positioning and searching techniques are covered as well.

All the above must be covered and practiced extensively before introducing targets.

This is not a live fire shoot house, it is for sim rounds and airsoft.

I will, too. Just watch. ;)

Did you sigh up for the Weaponized Geometry class?
Will be taking classes at Steve's next year, I'm missing way too many great classes. This year I'm full, money and time wise. Taking shivworks ECQC this August and Gabe White in December.

And I'd like to train some more with Steve directly.

Having been in several "shoothosers" The four primary directIves apply.

Targets are at random.

All walls were supposedly safe but drywall isn't going to stop a 9mm from making your day inconvenient.

A water impulse charge will rock your world!
