My son got an invite for a guided veteran hunt and myself and his non-hunter Brother In Law (middle in photo) were able to join. It's been so long since we've seen so many ducks I thought I forgot.....not. Location was the rice fields of North-Central California and the wind was howling. We were done before 9AM and were gearing up for Snows, but a storm was moving in and it was time to go.

The birds just haven't showed up here in the Willamette Valley. Pretty disappointed this year. I have found a pile of dead ducks and geese on our ponds, im assuming bird flue
