Hey guys. Have another question. I have a leopold mark ar 1 1.5-4mm firedot on my 223. But was wondering if i could put that on my new 300blk? Or if it would throw off the zero or mess up the mounts or something like that? Or would it be alright to put on the 300blk?

If you take it off of one rifle/upper and put it on another, you will have to re-zero it in for the new rifle/upper.

Even the same rifle in different calibers will have subtle differences that will throw the point of aim vs point of impact off.

Velocity of bullet is a big one too. .223 at 3200fps vs .300BO at 2200fps

If you do decide to use the mark AR scope on a 300 blackout, I would suggest you call leupold and have them make you a new CDS dial based on the ballistics/velocity of your 300. In fact, you can do this for any rifle/caliber combo you have! The leupold custom shop does amazing things
