Others have hit most of the highlights. Powder choice is a bigger deal on a progressive press, especially with smaller cases like 9mm. If you're going to be playing near the higher end of pressure loads, I'd choose a ball powder. CFE pistol meters nearly perfectly in my Dillon powder feeder. With flake powders like 700-x I can get variations of 2-3 10ths; not too bad for larger cases like 45 colt, 45 acp or .357, but not close enough for 9mm.

Reloading 9mm isnt too hard, but has a few potential issues. 9mm cases are slightly tapered and systems for resizing the entire case are expensive. I'll pick up almost any range brass I find, but I plunk test my 9mm reloads. There are plenty of crimped primer 9mm out there - they find their way into my scrap bucket. 9mm brass is so common it's not worth the time to ream out the crimps.
