An AR SBR really needs a folding stock for the full effect.

Here's my SBR, nothing special just a locally made lower with an 11.5" Del-Ton upper, an adjustable gas block:

With YHM flip-up sights and a .30 can:

And shooting it in the rain after a friend and I spent the morning testifying against the gun control bills in the Oregon Senate:

MPA finally came out with folding stocks for their carbines this week. Might make a decent SBR also.

Yeh, 308 is a big round to SBR and makes for a pretty useless toy (gun is heavy, ammo is big and heavy and you're left with a very slow 308 round), but it is a ton-o-fun. On the other hand, a 9mm SBR is where everyone should start; great liitle round that only benefits from having a stock added. $200 well spent on that tax stamp.

Technically that isn't a SBR. It is a machine gun, which is a totally different classification, but I like it all the same.
Maybe I'll get my M11-nine for my birthday in MAY. I sent in the paper work last April.
