It makes these limbs feel good because they are doing something...all lip service and no real improvement. You think these whack job mass murderers would walk in to a place where they might be out gunned or at least out trained, heck no, they want mass body count and mayhem. Notice that Navy Yard loser didn't cross the street and pull off his attack in the Marine barracks. It's pretty obvious the gun free zones are having the opposite effect on these mass shootings.

There is no criminal penalty for carrying a firearm on a college campus in Washington State.
