It looks like I fixed my Ruger SR9's Failure to Fire problem. Before I replaced the stock striker spring with a heavier one, I'd have multiple malfunctions with every magazine. I've now shot hundreds of rounds through it without a single malfunction. Problem is now officially solved.

Some SR9s leave the factory with this defect, I've heard. Has anyone else run into this?

My wife's Ruger SR9c has had nary a problem.

Also as an FYI, the acronym FTF usually stands for "failure to feed" which is a very different problem than failing to fire due to light striking issues.
