WTS OR Remington 700 long range 25-06

new in box remington 700 Long Range in .25-06. 26" heavy barrel and M40 stock (Bell and Carlson I believe). I mounted a warne 20moa scope rail on it but never added optics nor did I shoot it.

bought a barrett fieldcraft in the same caliber so decided to sell this one so no trades please.

$550 at a cut above in beaverton or tigard pawn for more.

Any idea what the weight of it is? Or, is it field carryable? What kind of finish/coating is on the metal?

Pretty Cool rifle, I Jst bought a new rifle of I might be all over it. Its kind of specialized, meaning only apeall to a few shooters. I have A CZ .308 I plan to sell ad if i sell it 1st i might just buy this. love 25 Caliber...tj3006

It is matte blued and i believe the weight is 8.75. A little heavy to carry in the field in my opinion but I like light guns with 24" max barrel length for field purposes.

Yeah, I figured it's something around 9. I have a wood/blued .25-06 and love it, looking for a foul weather field rifle in the same chambering. This doesn't check all the boxes, but I wish you luck on the sale. Cool rifle.
