I have a Beretta M9A3 and a 92FS. The M9 A3 is great and has night sights. I use the drip wrap to get the 92FS/ regular M9 feel as my hands are somewhat large.

I like the 92FS. My favorite 9MM handgun of all time. NO rail. No BS.

I inherited a 21A from my grandfather. The factory mags feed angle causes the last rounds to not chamber. Believe it or not, the Pro Mag magazines shoved the problem with their higher feed angle. It now resides with my grandfather;s namesake grandson (my son). He is tickled to death that it was his great grandpa's gun.

I would like a 96, as I love 40 S&W.

I've got a couple 92FS, one blue the other INOX, and like them a lot. Reliable, decent trigger, accurate enough, plenty of rounds on tap, and suppresses well enough with a light can in place. For a Wonder Nine, there's not much more that could be asked for.

92FS
Very smooth shooter, a joy to shoot.

Very impractical gun. Ill never buy another slide mounted safety, or a double action auto again. Not a fan of the open top slide, and they dont seem to pair well with red dot sights.

Granted this is an extreme example....

During Desert Shield / Storm...
Folks issued a Beretta M9 needed to first put the pistol in a zip lock bag...
Then into their holster.

Dirt , sand , dust , etc...would get between the slide and the exposed barrel...
Causing the slide to get stuck / "freeze " in place.
The Zip Lock would protect the pistol from dust , etc...

The above has me not trusting the M9 pistol....Glad I used a 1911A1 then.

All that said...
Again...the above is an extreme example...Pretty sure most folks won't have this issue.
Unless you neglect to clean your pistol....
And have dirt , debris , rust , etc...between your barrel and slide.
Then it is more a matter of operator error / neglect ...rather then the pistol.

I think the Storm is a nice pistol , 92s are good shooters, I have a 21A with nice grips that is cute with its dainty little muzzle can. I do like Beretta shotguns.

But all I own is that 21A.
