Poll: Remington 700 30-06 Sps for close Range Fun

I'm about to start building a Remington 700 sps threaded 30-06 for fun

Be used for 15yards to 100yards. This rifle will be purely Fun shoot pumpkins & targets

I've got large stock of 30-06 ammo already just waiting to have fun!

Also I just put in my Taxstamp for a YHM 30cal can so that'll replace muzzle brake down the road!

Possibly find someone that reloads! Maybe make up some Subsonic 30-06 ammo!

I voted other.

Get a semi if it's for "fun" plinking and such. Yes a bolt action would be quieter with the can, but if you have the ammo to just plink with, id prefer a semi.

This would make that Vepr my top choice.

I've been looking but my budget for base rifle was $800 under and my Threads have to be 5/8x24

I've owned a Vepr in 54r, likely the only gun I ever regret selling. They are amazing AKs.

I'm sure @Velzey or Tornado Tech could thread up a barrel to 5/8x24

From suggestion also be adding a Bolt knob!

Loose the scope rail and dot, add a stripper clip feed lip to the rear bolt shroud and a set of decent iron sights at suppressor height, make a really slick camp rifle or predator defense rifle! Would be awesome all around and quite useful!

Good set of ghost ring sights, maybe a dbm setup, clip slot the receiver if you don't like dbm's
