Always good to be ready. Didn't even feel it here in northern Washington...

For those who not know there is a tectonic plate subduction zone off our coast, meaning that the plate that is being forced under the adjacent one into the earths molten core causes "crunching" at times when the stress is relieved under great pressure. If the pressure is not relieved for a long time the force of the sudden subduction is greater

In other words lots of lesser quakes are a lot better than the big kahuna
