They should add the courts are also helping the criminals by allowing them to sue if they are injured while they are invading your home. Next thing you know they will be eligible for workmans comp.

Heard a stat, haven't tried to substantiate it --

In the US, the rate for 'hot' burglary, where the bad-guy knows the home is occupied, is 10%. In (disarmed) Britain, it's 50%.
