I don't know if any of you guys on the south side of the river know the fellow in this interview, but if so, you're blessed.

I say that as a newsie and as someone who has been around good guys and bad guys for a while. Dr. Colistro pegs the issues correctly.

The video that launched this interview is a winner, too. Done about "gun control" by three middle school kids, it's got a balance and it's pretty well edited.

Oregon psychologist in 'gun control' documentary: 'Violent people cause violence'

A veteran Oregon clinical psychologist appearing in a gun control documentary airing next Thursday, reiterated to Examiner today in an exclusive telephone interview what he said in the video – touted by KOIN News as second-place finisher in a national competition – that "Firearms don't cause violence, violent people cause violence."

It is such a simple connection and so truthful. But the Truth is becoming squashed in political Correctness and words are losing the common meaning. Feelings and intent outweigh logic and results.
