I don't know if any of you guys on the south side of the river know the fellow in this interview, but if so, you're blessed.

I say that as a newsie and as someone who has been around good guys and bad guys for a while. Dr. Colistro pegs the issues correctly.

The video that launched this interview is a winner, too. Done about "gun control" by three middle school kids, it's got a balance and it's pretty well edited.

Oregon psychologist in ‘gun control’ documentary: ‘Violent people cause violence’

A veteran Oregon clinical psychologist appearing in a gun control documentary airing next Thursday, reiterated to Examiner today in an exclusive telephone interview what he said in the video – touted by KOIN News as second-place finisher in a national competition – that “Firearms don’t cause violence, violent people cause violence.”

Colistro did a lot of work for me a few years back. He does a lot of CJ work. Talked to him over the phone a good bit. Straight shooter.

It is such a simple connection and so truthful. But the Truth is becoming squashed in political Correctness and words are losing the common meaning. Feelings and intent outweigh logic and results.

Hammers don't build houses, People do. Guns are tools nothing more, used mostly for good.

"The gun has been called the great equalizer, meaning that a small person with a gun is equal to a large person, but it is a great equalizer in another way, too. It insures that the people are the equal of their government whenever that government forgets that it is servant and not master of the governed." --Ronald Reagan
