Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Is there anyplace to shoot east or NE of Everett? When we were younger we went to Sultan or Index but hear all those are closed due to idiots. Any places left for responsible shooters. Preffer not to be shoulder to shoulder but begets can't be choosy I suppose. Thanks
Sultan Basin Road up towards Spada Lake. Lots of "No Shooting" signs in the low lands, but up higher, at the high point before you drop back down to the lake there are a bunch of spots. Clean up after yourself or those areas will be closed soon as well.
Also take a left just past Skykomish, drive a mile or two and look for a left turn on a dirt road. Lots of options up that way.
Go to Skykomish, stop in at the Ranger Station just east of town and get a map, they'll point you up the Beckler River Road, running north off the highway between town and the Ranger Station. You can drive to the end of the Rapid River Road and shoot there at an old sand/gravel pit, or climb up the valley to Jack's Pass and a larger pit and shooting site there. Both sites are preferred for recreational shooters.
