Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
I just bought some of both from Cabelas and the prices for caps were exactly twice as much as for the same amount of primers, why? they're basically the same thing.
I set my percussion cap nipples aside and went to the Mag Spark 209 Primer Adapter
Haven't seen any percussion caps for a while and am getting back to shooting my hawkin.
My local Bimart does have 209 primers and 777 (simulated) black powder.
