Pasco police seek suspect in shooting
By Paula Horton, Herald staff writer

An argument between a 29-year-old Pasco man and a group of people resulted in the man being shot in the chest and police searching for a shooting suspect.

Edgar Martinez-Robledo, 40, is being sought on a warrant for first-degree assault, said Pasco police Capt. Jim Raymond.

The incident was reported around 8 p.m. Thursday when the victim, who is not being named, arrived at Lourdes Medical Center for treatment, Raymond said.

The victim was shot with a small-caliber handgun. The injury is not life-threatening, Raymond said. Friends dropped the victim off at the hospital.

The argument reportedly took place in the 200 block of West Clark Street, and the victim was shot while sitting in the back of a vehicle.

Martinez-Robledo is known to travel between the Tri-Cities and the Hermiston/ Umatilla area, Raymond said.

He may be driving a dark gray 1986 Honda Prelude with Oregon plates 557-FBU.

Anyone with information about the shooting or the whereabouts of Martinez-Robledo is asked to call Pasco police at 545-3421 or 545-3482.
