Pants...

I work outside fora living and I have tried many pairs of pants from rigs rangers to Duluth and charhart. Rigs are by far better than the Duluth fire hose pants for less than half the price. The firehouse pants do not rip but they do wear out the knees very fast. 511, total crap imho, didn't last but they were cheap. Charharts last but I need a cargo pant. The Riggs last a very long time they will rip easier than the fire hose pants but more than make up for that with abrasion resistance.
Filson? Super sweet as far as bullet proof but not too practical for everyday wear so I have not used them for work away from home.
