Listen, my children, and you shall hear
Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere,
On the eighteenth of April, in Seventy-Five:
Hardly a man is now alive
Who remembers that famous day and year.
...........................................
For, borne on the night-wind of the Past,
Through all our history, to the last,
In the hour of darkness and peril and need,
The people will waken and listen to hear
The hurrying hoof-beats of that steed,
And the midnight message of Paul Revere.

Longfellow- The Midnight Ride Of Paul Revere

And what was it and the subsequent battles of Lexington and Concord about? Why was Revere risking everything to arouse the countryside? Because the British Army of Occupation was coming to confiscate the firearms of the Colonial Militias...

I find it hilariously hypocritical that earlier this week they passed a bill removing firearm enhancement charges for those committing crimes such as robbery, burglary, assault, etc while just 24 hours later passing HB 1240 for 'public safety'
This is because historically in communist revolutions the criminals fight for them! And demoralization tactics…. Kinda like why they put on that show of power signing to make them look 200ft tall…. Back in the day people realized gov was just a few scumbags down the street with a few cops …. When you see it like that people will get pissed and stand…. Kinda like why in 1984 they used those big screens looking down on you
