Well folks it is time to find a time & place to have a shindig up here in Washington.
My only stipulation is to boycott Seattle & all of King county.
Other than that, what say you?
Let's put some collective thoughts out there and get this thing going. :D
An "I'M IN, LETS DO IT" would help us see how many members really want to participate.

Thanks Jim Sr.

I'm definitely interested in getting something setup for our friends up North!

First step is always the most difficult -- Finding a location.

Minimum Requirements:

- 100+ Person Capacity
- Central Location
- Separate Checks / Pay As You Go - During these meets people like to come and go as they please. Note that this is far different than the ability of the establishment to split checks after the fact. Unfortunately this eliminates 90%+ of potential locations, but I've been doing this a long time and this is the only way to go.

I have no problem paying a reasonable room rental fee if the location is good.

Lets hear some suggestions!

Last time I was there Country Cousin in Centralia had good food, but I dunno if they have facilities big enough... too bad we can't do a deal with Marty at FAS to just use his range on an unbooked day and have a BBQ food-truck meet us there.

Nice place, we've eaten there many times over the years (they have SWEET TEA) but they have a small bar area.;)

Shorthand ref for Country Cousin. My first thinking for things like this tends to be "banquet room" rather than "huge bar area," that way we don't have to deal with a roomful of General Pop Drucking Funks and can maybe keep things down to a dull roar... :)

Dunno if Hawks Prairie's viable, last I heard they ain't what they used to be... disappointing they don't do bison burgers anymore, too.

Gotcha.
I did hear of another group that use the Hawks Prairie Casino for get-togethers but they are not a big group. I really need to find out how many people are on board with his and when before we make a decision.

Thank you for all the suggestions so far.
It's to bad the Rusty Tractor in Elma ( which is the cousin to the Country Cousin) can't be bought out for the night, that way I could crawl home if needed.:p:p:p
