Here's a related term: Bourgeoisie: Definition of BOURGEOIS

Leftist movements are all about class struggle. They conveniently forget that in Western Civilization you have the freedom and opportunity to better yourself if you desire. Economic classes aren't fixed. Microsoft, Apple, and Amazon all started in garages. If your only skill is to flip burgers and you don't want to better yourself then you only deserve to get what the market will pay. If you want better you have to do something to make it happen, but we have a couple of generations now that have been taoght that they are owed something by "the rich".

The current pandering by politicians is to raise minimum wage to $15. Historically a raise in minimum wage, due to the law of supply and demand, is that inflation eats up the spending power advantage in less than a year. Raising the minimum wage from $7.50 to $15.00 (round numbers) will cause a $1 item to cost $2 by the end of the first year.

The rest of us, though, who took chances and made sacrifices still get to pay those inflated prices and our earnings will not double. It's effectively a pay cut and a punishment for those of us who worked hard to get ahead. But at least a few politicians got votes so they can continue their wrecking ball attacks on our freedoms in order to increase their control and power over the rest of us,

Exactly what politicians do, pander to the gullible masses, promise them free stuff and they get money & elected or re-elected.:s0117:

Those posters are disturbing....
Reminiscent of anything ?

I thought that was interesting too. Are they serious with the Soviet-style propaganda posters? Sounds like a bunch of radicals. Either that or some kind of parody or caricature.

Imagine a group of neo-nazi nutjobs. Do they also have the right to bear arms? Well, if they are law abiding then yes they do. They may have offensive ideology, but they have the same rights we all do. That doesn't mean I have to like them, or consider them allies in the defense of the Second Amendment. Their goals are ultimately very different from ours.

You beat me to it and I agree.
I do NOT consider these types as 'traditional' gun owners and I believe their only reason for an interest in guns is to support their violent, socialist agenda.
I may have to accept their legal right TKABA and like you I do NOT consider them allies in the defense of the 2A.
These people are following a very 'skewed' ideology and guns in their hands gives them a 'power' they would otherwise not have.

I have no doubt that there are some people who would look at their kooky ideology and communist imagery, and think, "This is why we need gun control."

Might be kind of tough for these 'some people' considering THEY might be of the same(or similar) ideology.

Are the 'Dems' going to denounce these people or side with them?

Yep That's a conundrum for the left They like the socialists because they want to destroy America, but...Gunso_O

Their website is chock full of quotes about how Marx and Lenin saying how the proletariat should never have their guns taken away. Don't these idiots read history or a frikkin newspaper? Just how did that work out for the "proletariat" in the URRS, China, North Korea, Venezuela, and all the other "people's"paradises? This takes useful idiot to a whole nuther level.

I'm not talking about deep thinkers, just the average middle-of-the-road clueless voter who sees a bunch of apparently communist revolutionaries with "assault weapons".

"We support gun ownership for everyone left , right and center. The Second Amendment guarantees the right to keep and bear arms, whatever your political persuasion."

That I can agree with ...

As for the rest of just what the Socialist Rifle Association stands for , says , does , even its logo and posters...No not for me.
Communism is not the new cool , for this guy.

Far too many people have been murdered , oppressed , and enslaved under that system / style of 'Socialism" for me to support a group that espouses those ideas and beliefs

What would you know? Its not like you're a teacher, and been in conflicts related to that or anything... Oh wait. ;)

Didn't you hear?

The Russians are now our friends. They would never get involved in our politics!
If a country exists, they're not our friends. They just aren't enemies yet.

For me , it was instilled at a formative age that :
AK47 equals a bad guy ...
M16 equals a good guy....

That said ...at various times and places I was shot at with rifles of the M16 series , M1 Garands and M1 / M2 Carbines..you know the guns of the "good guys"...
And with that said...
Masuers of various models , Mosin Nagants , SKS's and the above mentioned AK47 have been shot at me...you know the guns of the "bad guys"...

But still for me , the images shown in the OP are reminiscent of the Communist posters of the Cold War era...so I was thinking that a AK47 would have been pictured as well.

At the end of the day however , no gun is "bad"...its more important in how its used...

Out of curiosity, was this in Panama? (The eldest brother in my family was deployed there shortly after it was invaded.)
Mostly...
The M1 Garand and M1 / M2 Carbines were in use by the PDF as well as the M16 series ....
I did encounter a M2 Carbine while in Mogadishu ...
Also some use of the M16 series was used by various forces in the Balkans ....which can be open to interpretation as to who was good and who was bad ....at various times....

Tbh I wasn't surprised seeing it. Its just what's commonly available to them so if they were gonna use an image of a gun, an AR would make sense.

The irony is now the AK might as well symbolize capitalism since AK manufacturers supply other militaries with them for profit, rather than control. And are even sold here. Meanwhile the AR is America's rifle, its ironically used in an image by commies. o_O

At least my arsenal is in NATO's round. :D

Cause that's the upside down world we're in. We have ARs in commie rounds and AKs in NATO rounds. AR is used by commies here on the poster or whatever, AK isn't. Next I'm gonna be told they'll bring back Married With Children and have Al Bundy become a feminist.

I have a hard time getting over the Soviet-style posters. Are these guys really full-blown communists?!?

"The Means Of Production Won't Seize Themselves"? Are they advocating for the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens, or are they fomenting for armed communist revolution? Their rhetoric and imagery suggest the latter. Bunch of nut-jobs, I can see why the NSSF wanted nothing to do with them.
