I find this truly disturbing, and i would hope the NRA explains itself. It has been reported that during a debate recess on the #opencarry bill, the NRA was in the halls urging senators not to vote in favor of an amendment that case law and the 4th circuit has already stated. The open carry of a firearm, in an open carry state, does not create or satisfy reasonable suspicion for a detainment, Just like when you are driving down the road, an officer can not pull you over for no reason.

"Mr Grisham stated that he was informed by a Senator that during a recess on Friday when HB 910 was being debated, the NRA & TSRA were in the halls trying to get Senators NOT to vote for an amendment that states that the open carry of a handgun, by itself, can not be a reason to stop someone and check for a permit."

These stories are jumped on by the anti gun crowd and every left wing media outlet in the country to , as they always do, attack the NRA in every why possible and I find it pretty damned sad that supposed pro gun people help them propagate the anti NRA crap without doing real research before they do.
They are using you to play pocket pool and laughing out loud when pro gun people do these things. Its exactly why they put Bullcrap stories out there. [emoji53] [emoji109]

Yep, read more than one story on an issue and you might be surprised how different details in each one are. We are kinda left to read every one and make up our mind that the truth is likely in the middle of all the garbage they try to feed.
If you want to deal with gun control your words will be twisted and turned to fit anti gunners story.

Sure is an eye-catching headline, till you research a bit.
