Back to the subject of this thread...

Yesterday at about 11am I was dumped into the queue at about 60. It approved in about 75 minutes. The two other buyers there at the time were also put into the queue.

I bought my Israeli made 1911 in 10mm yesterday and was instant. The queue was very roughly 200 at that point so wouldn't have been a long wait anyway. I witnessed about half a dozen other buyers and nobody else got instant though again it hardly seemed to matter :s0092:

Doesn't iwi have a shotgun version of tavor? Don't know anything about it.
Yes and it's an absolute unit. Looks like it belongs to a space marine

People are panic buying, for sure. SGAmmo has taken quite a bit of their inventory down temporarily to catch up with the sudden back log to of orders jack up prices like they did for the last round of panic buying.
Fixed it for you.

Queue has climbed to 500+ .

I think the middle east stuff is motivating some buyers again.
No. I spoke to the state yesterday. Their computers went down yesterday, so they couldn't approve anyone. They were able to get started back up today, but it's moving slowly while they try to catch up.

My wife just picked up her new rifle this evening - the wait was about 30 seconds and most of that was waiting for the page to load. Unusual last name for the win.

Market is what it is, I don't have any problem with anyone asking whatever they want for anything. Either whatever it is will sell, or it won't.

Folks could have stocked up during the lows. Or complain wanting price fixing. Freaking commies...
I agree with you, but call it what it is, not what sound good. It is a business taking advantage of another panic. I don't begrudge them selling at whatever price they want, but last time SG pulled inventory and canceled orders just to relist at 2x the price an hour later. Canceling orders saying you are out of stock, then immediately relisting the same items is a scumbag move in my opinion. I will not order from them again.

I do not recall Sgammo cancelling orders & then relisting, however recall others doing such.

CTD was the biggie that I recall doing so, along with Sportsman's Guide.

They canceled my 5.45x39 order when the Russia ammo ban happened, and immediacy relisted 5.45 at over 2x the price. I think they learned from the COVID panic and immediately went for the $$$$ when they had the chance.

First instance I've heard of SGammo doing such.

Shutting down the sight for orders & pulling product, yes. Which is reasonable & sensible, to me, from a business perspective.

Canceling an order already placed, not good business & could see why you feel as you do about them. That's unfortunate.

It's also unfortunate you waited so long. When many folks (including SGammo) were consistently reminding folks of the lows in ammunition pricing. Mentioning folks should stock up etc.

However many folks didn't...

Oh, I saw it coming. Its not that I waited too long, I just kept buying until the very end.........

I bought a handgun at the gun show a few weeks ago and was 10 in line and it went through within 20 mins. But I bought a rifle from gun broker and The Que was around 500 people in front of me today when I got my gun broker gun sent to my ffl. He said the bgc should be done in the morning the next day. I hate having to wait to pick them up.
