New Al-Qaeda threats

I'm sure most of you have heard this, but there are thousands of Al-Qaeda personnel in the US that are planning attacks here, with many of them planning to act as police officers and medical professionals. How do you plan to distinguish true police/medical professionals to those that are just pretending to be?

There is always some sort of threat out there.
It is important however to....
Separate what is possible from what is probable.

Also...Location , location , location....
It ain't just a sayin' for realtors.
Where you live , where you , when you go...all play a factor in a given threat.

Something else to consider....
Any threat , will not play by your rules / schedule / wants or needs....

You can very easily what if ....what about yourself to death here in regards to a threat to you.
Live your life...don't let fear or concern drive your thinking or life...
'Cause if you do....then that ain't really living.

Well, I suppose if I get pulled over by an unmarked car and they guy who comes to my window has a big beard, turban and bomb vest, I'll know? Or if my doctor is yelling "admiral ackbar" all around the clinic.... what other generalizations should I include? Terrorists are pretty obvious, you know, just like in the movies.

Fact is, if I truly ran into one of them and they truly intended to involve me in a terrorist attack in one way or another, I wouldn't know it was a terrorist until I read the details later in the news. it would just be some guy who looks like you or I who is/was intent on causing harm.

Those big carrots will come in handy for sure.

But they won't help with the extraterrestrial demons you should really be worried about. They just munch them right up. Whereas carrots are a very scary thing to schismatic muslims. Not quite as scary as pork spritzer grenades, but close.

There was a bus incident in Stockholm Sweden yesterday. A bus ran into a bunch of people. At the time they weren't reporting details if it was an accident or an attack. But, especially overseas, these style of attacks are more common.

To be diligent isn't being paranoid. But with the holidays and travel at our door brings crowds and opportunities. I generally don't fly during the holidays but shopping and traffic are unavoidable.

That said, I hope to keep the holiday spirit and enjoy what we have. Sharing with family, neighbors and friends.

What ever happened in this incident (as of right now, I don't see any updates) doesn't remove the fact that vehicle attacks are on the rise, especially in Europe. That fits into the topic of terrorism and threats. Dead and injured people as a result of those threats aren't imaginary nor a long past history.

The holiday season unfortunately has been a targeted time for vehicles to be driven into crowds, especially at Christmas markets. Maybe you aren't aware of this. Especially across Europe, the authorities place large barriers to block vehicles for a non imaginary reason. There are actual threats.
