I don't carry with a WML. I prefer a handheld for EDC simply for comfort. I used to carry with a Surefire X300. But you can't go wrong with Surefire, streamlight, Modlite. Cloud defensive is also coming out with a pistol light. Really just depends on what you want.

Acro on a G48

Agreed, I have a TLR1HL, very uncomfortable to carry. My streamlight micro stream is up there for my favorite EDC. WML for stays for home defense

I have one on a 45 that I have been enjoying immensely. I have a Surefire X300 on it too. Glock did a really good job with the mounting system and the optic itself is clean, works really well under nods.

Yeah, I still am not a fan of any red dot for a ccw but the aimpoint seems to be plenty up to the task if it is your cup of tea.
I carry with an Acro P2 on occasions. But I have noticed the sharp corners of the boxy optic prints more than I personally prefer. I can do it but I have to be pretty self aware with how I dress when doing so.

I'd say 75-80% of the time I just run iron sights.

Not terribly expensive eh? They'll retail for 600, Glock 43x MOS is what 450-580, plus you'll need some metal iron sights. Seems like a decent deal but maybe I'm missing something..

Bought a 43x COA. Blue label price at Keiths was $685
So if the optic is $600 I got the Gun for $85 plus $10 background check.

Not Bad! :s0114:

It's also the first optic on a gun I bought that was dead nuts accurate at 25 yds from the box. And back up irons are metal.

I wanna try the COA but for now my Acro P2s will have to do. Haha

Any opinions/info on affecting the recoil so that a different spring would be needed?
Slide spring should work the same.

I have a G48 with a G43 slide. So basically a 43x.
It weighs in at 1lb .5oz.

My new 43x COA weighs in at 1lb .7oz. So no real difference in slide weight.
I'm thinking because they take a good chunk of steel off the slide to get the COA optic to sit so low. And the optic is something like 1.5oz.
