Early reporting highlighted the armed intervention/save by the two neighbors. Later reporting by that same station (actually, not much later), those good guys with guns might never have existed; all credit was given to the SWAT members who surrounded the property and affected the arrest.

That was my first thought. Except for protecting the lives of my family, myself and a very few close friends, I can't think of many scenarios that I would choose to get involved in when bullets start flying. LEOs are having to make split second decisions as to who is doing what and I'd rather not be mistaken for a bad guy with a gun
