My homebuilding project in Yelm,Wa..new pics!!

Hey everyone!!,
I wanted a few acres of land with lots of trees that i could afford.I also wanted to be able to shoot on my land. I settled on Yelm because its kind of a small town,away from the hustle and bustle of the type that i came from..Yelm has everything i need but if they don't Lacey and Olympia are very close by.So, i got this 5 acres for around $60,000. To build a house ires earched and decided on Lexar homes..mainly because i like the floor plan..This will be a ongoing post to chronicle my task..

Well this week ending 3-21 we got the crawl space plastic down and the floor joists put in..must get it inspected on Monday before framing starts

I so Know that area!!!! I used to live in Parkland, then Spanaway, then bought a WW II bungalo house, just off the "Test Jet Engines HERE" on the old McChord AFB!

When I moved East of the mountains, err... Circa 1978.... We received a wonderful gift, of a full grown, AKC Irish Setter, from a local YELM person....

Yelm, a great eara... Congrats!

Hey New Neighbor, I live in Nisqually Pines. Don't know how long you've been in the Yelm area, but if it's new to you. Mr Doug's has pretty fair breakfasts and really good burgers, Tacos Gaby has the best Mexican food around, La Gitana has some really great wood fired gourmet pizza but are a bit spendy. For BBQ hit up Jim Bob's in McKenna.

Went to Taco Gaby after seeing Divergent tonight...great movie and great food!!

On the original topic house is looking good...would love to have property like that!

roof shingles were installed today and some of the sheathing was put on the outside..the framers will finish some time tomorrow so i'll have more outside pics.

Roof completed and outside sheathing basically done..i'm now waterproof for the most part. Plumbers next!!

What is your cost for the building of the house permits materials labor surveys? Minus the land im just curious getting ready to buy our first house here in the near future
