Started collecting parts for an AR pistol, chambered in 7.62x39. Starting this thread to share my build, but mainly to help me keep things organized;)

Both my lower and my upper receiver are from Anderson Manufacturing.

The lower receiver will be stuffed with a Colt lower parts kit and Geissele Super Dynamic 3 Gun trigger.

The upper receiver has no dust cover or forward assist. It will be holding a bolt carrier group from KAK Industries that has been modified to excel with steel cased ammo.

The barrel is an 8" long, KAK Industries 7.62x39, and will have the KAK slimline flash can on the end. Low profile gas block.

The buffer tube is also made by KAK Industries. It comes with spacers, which is perfect for adjusting the Sig Sauer brace.

I'm still reviewing and measuring for a handguard, but I'm leaning towards the Midwest Industries Gen 2 SS. It should match the slimline flash can well.

Ar 7.62x39 was a problem child, but if you take your name times and many trips to the range then it would be fix. It is currently my best suppressor host. My previous experience first was on a Special Weapon AR47. It took regular AK mag, so the upper need to be machine wider so the AK mags can fit the upper and get catch in the lower magazine release. Then it only shoot yugo brAss case amo, lucky me I bought lot of pmc ammo back in the day, $5 for 20 rounds so I did not have to clean them every trip to the range. The yugo ammo, is corrosion ammo. Then I decide to shoot cheap steel case ammo. I have to file the disk of the firing pin lot of times, little as each time. I put the firing pin into my hand drill and made it spins. Took a nails file rub on it just a little each time. Put the rifle back, run to BLM land fire couple mags (repeated this, step 5-8 times). It did this 5 or 6 time then the firing pin come to a perfect spot it stop fail to fire.
Because it is suppressed so well I ordered 2 of the, RRA LAR47 Delta model. Praying they come to me soon. Mean while I am trying to built one while waiting.

BTW I am running all my AKs, Sigs 7.62x39, AR47 with pmag AK47 magazines they all work well. The only AR pistol that, does not work with magpul mag is MGI Verpra 7.62x39 pistol.

Oh yeah, thanks for asking. I forget about the broken bolt. After few full mags of mix Russian ammo I had a fail to fire and fail to eject. I did check the bolt and this is what happen

Then I bought the bolt and firing pin from MGI. So far it works well.
