Started collecting parts for an AR pistol, chambered in 7.62x39. Starting this thread to share my build, but mainly to help me keep things organized
Both my lower and my upper receiver are from Anderson Manufacturing.
The lower receiver will be stuffed with a Colt lower parts kit and Geissele Super Dynamic 3 Gun trigger.
The upper receiver has no dust cover or forward assist. It will be holding a bolt carrier group from KAK Industries that has been modified to excel with steel cased ammo.
The barrel is an 8" long, KAK Industries 7.62x39, and will have the KAK slimline flash can on the end. Low profile gas block.
The buffer tube is also made by KAK Industries. It comes with spacers, which is perfect for adjusting the Sig Sauer brace.
I'm still reviewing and measuring for a handguard, but I'm leaning towards the Midwest Industries Gen 2 SS. It should match the slimline flash can well.
