I think the owner was on NWFA under his name but I couldn't tell you what it is. But I would definitely contact them about this. CS and fit & finish are everything to me for re-ordering from a company. They won't make it right come back and give a bad review on here.

I honestly don't think they care at this point. Probably more concerned with all the bullbubblegum coming for gun owners in WA to care about good customer service.

Well I always saw him as a good and interested businessman. Where he has gone I do not know.

I've had to send barrels back for rethreading when things were too tight or didn't fit. It shouldn't happen, but it happens. In this case it sounds like they'll need to replace the barrel.

Good to know that it's not just me then. A $400 barrel should have better QC.

So Rainier just got my barrel back. Email states.

"Hello,

We've received your return and have tested the barrel we received back from you and some that we still have on the shelf. We tested with a few different 5/8-24 muzzle devices including the following:

And all of them thread on similarly between the returned barrel and other barrels we have. There is light play while threading but no play once the muzzle devices bottom out and shouldn't have play once installed and timed. We can hand pick the tightest threading barrel we can get out of our batch but given how loose the muzzle device you were using in the video was it's likely that the tolerance stacking would not result in a fit that would be satisfactory for your use."

So I can either get a refund or take a chance on another barrel having the same problem.

Any ideas on other good 300blk barrels 9-10.5"? I'm looking for premium grade; preferably 416rs or comparable, .75 gas block diameter.

Options I'm seeing are Criterion CORE 10.5", BCM fluted 9"
